If you have problems with your resume, follow these steps:
Step 1: Does the boiler have power ?

  • Check that the pump is plugged into the wall socket
  • Check whether the fuse for the group in question has tripped
  • Replace a fuse or reset the earth leakage circuit breaker if necessary

Step 2: Can the boiler be reset?

  • Try resetting the boiler with an on/off button / reset button / power supply
  • Check whether the boiler displays an error code
  • Look up what this means in the user manual or by using the product number of the CV (found on a sticker)

Step 3: Check the water pressure

  • Check that the water pressure is between 1.2 and 2 Bar
  • Open the front cover to view the meter
  • If the pressure is too low, the boiler must be topped up

Humming boiler
If you are experiencing a humming central heating boiler, this can be caused by various things. In the summer, people often close all radiators, but when the weather-dependent regulation is demanding, it cannot release its pressure. The humming can be solved by turning the radiator knob.

Cold radiator
If the radiator, or just the top of the radiator, remains cold, this may be because there is air in the radiator. The solution to this problem is to bleed the radiator. For this you will need a bleed key and a towel:

  • Insert the key into the nipple and turn it open a little
  • Let the air escape until a small stream comes out
  • Close it again

If the problem has not yet been resolved, it may be because the radiator knob is stuck:

  • Remove the knob, you will see a small pin going into the tap housing
  • Press the back of a screwdriver against the pin several times until it no longer becomes stiff
  • Put the button back on

No gas supply
The CV reports that there is no gas supply:

  • Check if the main tap is open
  • Check whether the gas tap on the appliance is open

If there is no general fault, an individual safety device may have closed, the B valve. Close all gas taps on the appliances, leave the main tap closed, wait 30 min and then check whether the gas pressure has been restored
