You have a working heating system but there is currently no hot water coming out of the tap. A cause of this could be that the boiler is empty. When a lot of hot water has been used in a short time, it could be that it is temporarily empty. This could be because several people have showered in succession or filled a bath.

When the boiler restarts after this, it is also a good idea to take a look at the geyser. There may be something wrong with it. If this is the case, it is wise to contact a heating engineer.

Still no hot water from the tap?
A final cause could be that there is too much limescale on the tap. You can test this by turning on different taps in your home. If there is hot water coming out of the tap somewhere else, you would do well to descale the tap. This can be done by cleaning the tap with special anti-limescale.

Descaling is part of the maintenance that must be done by the tenant. Would you like more information about descaling your tap? Click here .
