Right in the city centre of Gouda, we offer a room located directly on the market square and within walking distance of the train station, shops, nightlife and various recreational facilities.

Through the shared entrance on the ground floor, you reach the hallway with stairs leading to the first floor. On this floor you will find the shared toilet, two rented rooms, a spacious kitchen, terrace and the bathroom. These facilities are shared with three other residents. The available room is also located on this floor.

Upon entering the room, you will immediately notice the beautiful view over the market square thanks to the large windows. The room has a practical layout with a living area and a raised sleeping area, accessible by stairs, with space for a bed.

The room will be delivered semi-furnished (upholstered). The furniture shown in the photos will be removed.

The property on Stoofsteeg dates back to approximately 1900 and is authentic, full of character and rich in history.

Selection procedure:

Rotsvast Gouda determines, based on incoming emails, which candidates responded first. Due to the expected high number of responses, not all candidates can be invited. Your email must include at least the following information:

• Name(s) of tenant(s)
• Explanation of household composition
• Gross annual income of tenant(s)

Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Invitations are sent in order of email receipt. For viewings, full = full.

After the viewing, candidates will be screened for income and reliability through various (public) registers. Tenants must successfully complete this screening with the highest score (5 stars) in our screening tool (Properize). The final decision to rent out the property rests entirely with the owner. If multiple candidates pass the screening successfully, the selection will be based on income, screening results and personal situation. Tenants have the opportunity to explain their personal situation during the screening.

Candidates who are not selected after the screening are entitled to further explanation and may request to review their screening report.

Please note: Rotsvast represents the interests of the property owner, who aims to rent out the property as of the available date. Once a complete screening is successfully completed, the file will immediately be presented to the owner. If a file has already been accepted, subsequently completed applications will no longer be considered. It is the responsibility of candidate tenants to submit a complete file as quickly as possible. Rotsvast will not actively inform applicants about the progress of other candidates’ screening procedures. In the current tight housing market, candidates are expected to act promptly.
