Selection Procedure

Rotsvast will review incoming emails in order of receipt. Due to the expected high level of interest, not all candidates can be invited. An email application must contain at least the following information:

Household composition
Gross annual income of tenant(s)

Incomplete applications will not be processed. Viewings are on a first-come, first-served basis.

After the viewing, a screening for income and reliability will follow via various (public) registers. Candidates must complete this screening fully and successfully with the highest score in our screening tool (Properize). The final selection of a tenant rests with the property owner. If multiple candidates successfully complete the screening, the selection will be based on income, screening, and personal situation. Candidates will be given the opportunity to explain their personal situation during the screening.

If you are not selected after the screening, you are entitled to inspect the screening report and an explanation of the decision.

Important

Rotsvast represents the interests of owners who wish to rent immediately. As soon as a candidate successfully passes the screening, their application will be submitted directly to the owner. If a application has already been accepted at that time, new applications will no longer be processed. It is the responsibility of prospective tenants to submit a complete application as soon as possible.

Rotsvast does not actively inform prospective tenants about the progress of screening procedures for others. Given the tight housing market, it is crucial to act quickly.
