SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Rotsvast determines which candidates are invited based on the order of incoming emails. Due to the high number of expected responses, not all applicants can be invited.

Your email must include at least:

  • Name(s) of tenant(s)
  • Description of the household composition
  • Gross annual income of tenant(s)

Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Invitations are sent in order of receipt, and viewings are scheduled on a “full = full” basis.

After the viewing, candidates will undergo screening for income and reliability through various (public) registers. Applicants must successfully complete this screening with a 5-star rating (the highest score) in our screening tool (Properize).

The final decision lies entirely with the property owner. If multiple candidates pass the screening, the selection will be based on income, screening results, and personal circumstances. Applicants have the opportunity to explain their situation during the screening.

Candidates who are not selected after screening are entitled to an explanation and may request access to their screening report.

IMPORTANT:

Rotsvast represents the interests of the property owner, who aims to rent out the property as soon as possible. Once a candidate has successfully completed the screening, their file will immediately be presented to the owner. If a candidate is accepted, any subsequent applications will no longer be considered.

It is the responsibility of applicants to submit a complete file as quickly as possible. Rotsvast will not actively inform candidates about the progress of other applicants’ screenings.

Given the competitive housing market, applicants are expected to understand the importance of acting quickly.
