SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Rotsvast determines based on incoming emails which candidates have responded first. Due to the expected high number of responses, not all candidates will be invited. This email must include at least the following information:

  • Name(s) of the tenant(s)
  • Explanation of the household composition
  • Gross annual income of the tenant(s)

Emails that do not meet these requirements will not be processed.

Invitations for viewings will be sent in the order of emails received, and once full, no further viewings will be scheduled.

After the viewing, income and reliability checks will be conducted through various (public) registers. The tenant must fully and successfully complete this screening with a 5-star rating, which is the best score in our screening tool (Properize). The decision to rent the property is entirely up to the owner. If multiple candidates pass the screening successfully, the choice will be based on income, screening results, and the tenant's personal situation. Tenants have the opportunity to explain their personal situation during the screening process.

Candidates who are not awarded the property after screening have the right to a further explanation and can view the screening report.

NOTE: Rotsvast represents the interests of the owner, who has an interest in renting the property on the available date. If a file has been fully screened and accepted, any subsequent complete applications will no longer be considered.
